My journey as as a holistic healthcare practitioner started in 1997 with my first Reiki I class. It put me on a path of self healing and self empowerment which lead me to open many doors and experiences in the world of complementary health care.
Reiki I lead to Reiki II and I quickly discovered a real desire to teach this hands-on healing technique. I spent one year training (over 200 hours) with my Reiki Master, Amy Rowland and became a traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher in 1998.
In the fall of 2000 I was lead to take the 6 month, 650 hour certification course in massage therapy while working full time. (I still don’t remember how I managed to accomplish that. It was most certainly Divinely guided.)
In the fall of 2001 I took a giant leap of faith. I quit my job and started my own practice at the Becoming Center in Springhouse/Ambler area, PA.
Since then I've added Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, and Electromagnetic Field Balancing Technique. I became a practitioner and teacher of three other Reiki disciplines: Gendai, Karuna®, and Sekhem-Seichim®. I also became an Ordained Minister which unexpectedly then opened even more doors and life experiences.
I've had the honor of working with clients in all stages of Being and Becoming from pregnancy and birthing in the delivery room, clear through to end of life passages, plus all the amazing transitional phases of life and living in between.
I consider my approach to each session to be a unique blend of bodywork and energy meditation that creates Bridges of Healing for the Body, Mind and Spirit. Every client is an individual and every session is uniquely theirs.
As a teacher, my goal is to make sure that every student "gets it". And there's nothing better than seeing the face of a student light up when they do.
I''m grateful for all that I am and all that I have in this life. I am grateful for the guidance and the assistance I receive (from those seen and unseen). I am grateful to be the teacher and be the student as I continue to learn from the lessons that are presented to me. I am grateful for all the tools that I''ve learned to use for my own wellness and to assist others in their wellness journey.
I am grateful that you’ve chosen to read this and I would now like to invite you to ever so gently, step onto your own healing path and participate in your wellness.
I welcome your questions and comments and look forward to hearing from you.
